“Valentina was very good and knowledgeable about the history of the city, St Mark’s Basilica and the Doge Palace. Valentina’s historical background was exemplary and the information was very well communicated. The only negative was that she had to accommodate some people on multiple occasions who needed assistance with elevators which took away some extended periods of time from our tour while she was accompanying them to the elevators, this of course was out of her control. The touring company should have certain tours for people needing assistance with elevators or at least inform them that they need to be able to get up and down stairs on their own.…”

“I know people have mentioned that it is difficult to find where you pick up your tickets. We read the directions and other comments people left and it was super helpful. You pick up the tickets at the Venice Tours shop. It is very small, but the staff was super helpful, patient, and kind. We also used google maps by clicking the link in the confirmation and with those two pieces it was easy to find. The staff also explain how to download the app using their free Wi-Fi service. Just make sure you give yourself enough time to do so. This was a great experience.”

“The ‘Venice tours’ shop we were supposed to collect the tickets from was closed at the time of our booking. A member of staff in front of the shop told us they were closed for the day and should go to another shop to collect our tickets. Upon attending the other shop I was told that my booking was not valid with that shop, they have no idea why the other shop would tell me that, and told me simply I could only return to them. This is clearly a scam.”
