It really is as good as everyone says. Carlo and Giulia were just absolutely lovely and looked after us all day. It’s no exaggeration to say that the coffee we had just after getting off the train (organised by Carlo) and the spaghetti bolognese at the Osteria were possibly the best I’ve ever tasted. “We had an excellent time! Sebastian made the trip so memorable by being well versed in local knowledge for both prosecco and history. We had the benefit of a small tour which made it even more relaxed and enjoyable. Sebastian took time to stop at a viewing point so we could take some lovely memories away with us of such a unique location. Both winery's chosen were great! Really got to see the whole production from grape to bottle. The tastings were paired with some delicious local produce which has been unparalleled! We cannot find salami like it! “This was a wonderful experience. When we booked it, we thought we might be put on a bus and sent to some big commercial winery. Instead, this tour was the exact opposite of that. It was a truly local experience. We were met by Paolo, a retired Venetian shop owner who lives in the area and knows it very well. He drove us about an hour into the beautiful countryside where we visited a small, family-owned, organic winery. There, the winemaker drove us up into his hillside vineyards to tell us about his sustainable farming practices and how he babies his grapes. Then, we drove back to his small production…”
