“This was brilliant - it took the stress out of travelling! We were met at the end of our train platform and escorted to the water taxi that was waiting for us. We were taken directly to our hotel while we got to sit back and enjoy the journey. Would definitely recommend”

Private water-taxi transfer from Venice Santa Lucia to your city-center hotel, with meet-and-greet, luggage help, and Grand Canal views.

“I highly recommend using a private transfer from Santa Lucia train station to your hotel in the Venice City Center. Our group of six had two pieces of luggage each, and handling that on public transport would have been challenging. The convenience of a private transfer made our arrival much smoother and stress-free. Plus, the views from the private tour were stunning, especially the route through the Grand Canal, which added a wonderful touch to our experience. If you’re traveling with luggage, this option is definitely worth considering!”

★★★★★★★★★★3.5 · 15 reviews · 7 hours 30 minutes (approx.) · from $44

Boat day trip from Venice to Murano, Burano and Torcello with a Murano glass demo, guided history, and free time for lunch.

“Essentially just paying for the transport to these islands with some commentary during the travel periods. The man doing the commentary speaks 5 languages, which is impressive, but in reality everything he says is repeated in each language! After meeting the tour and boarding the ferry near the station, you go back to a more central area of Venice and have to switch ferry’s to a bigger one with a boat load of people, this wastes about 45minutes. The glass glowing demonstration at Murano is not great, everyone gets herded into a viewing section. There are much much better presentations on the island by other Murano stores which you can…”

“Overall a great tour. Our tour guide Barbara took us to see sites in places off the normal path. A minor issue with locating a gondolier for the gondola ride, not her fault. You will walk alot on this tour with lots of stairs.”

“Our tour guide Barbara was spectacular. Very knowledgeable and very personable. One thing that we absolutely hated, and needs to be changed: we were we had a group of 13 passengers, and we all got put on separate cars of the train. Not what we had in mind. We booked together, so I thought that put us together. That was a big problem for us.”

Boat tour from Venice station to Murano glass, Burano rainbow houses, and St Mark, with onboard commentary and workshop visit.

“This was a terrible experience and we never got to tour. We booked the tour, showed up 30 minutes early, waited and other people booked for the same tour also showed up waiting. The boats came and when we approached them they sent us to another boat, then that boat sent us back to wait for the first boat, this happed for three boats and after 45 minutes of going from one boat to another we called Viator paying $5.99 per minute for an overseas call. I was told we would be refunded and now there is no refund. We ended up not getting the tour and we were not…”
